Our Staff

 

                  Patti Sue Burton-Pye has been serving as Pastor of Providence Lutheran Church since 2008. She is a

                  graduate of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary (LTSS) in Columbia, SC. She currently resides in

                  Lexington. She is married to Russell Pye and has two children, Christopher and Sarah Beth. Patti Sue

                  serves on the board of directors at of Lexington Interfaith Community Services (LICS) and enjoys spending

                  her spare hours with family.

                 Betsy Culler serves as the Co- Preschool Director at Providence, Betsy has worked at Providence Lutheran

                 Church's preschool (PLCP) for 16 years. Her 19-year-old daughter, Lia, graduated from PLCP! Betsy grew up in                               Eastover, South Carolina, but has been living in Lexington for 25 years. She is married to Ben Culler. They have one                     cat, Yoko a dog named Josie, a chicken, two geckos and a Pac-man frog. When she isn't working, she is gardening                         and tending to all her many plants!

 

                  Amber Mcnorton Serves as the Co-Preschool Director at Providence. Amber has worked at Providence Lutheran                          Church  preschool (PLCP) for 7 years. Amber is a proud boy mom to 21-year-old, John, 19-year-old, Owen and 11-                          year-old, Liam. She is married to Shane McNorton and they happily reside here in Lexington with their 2 dogs and                        cat.  If you don't find Amber here at PLCP, you will find her spending her spare time with family and friends.

                   Steph Lawhorn has been serving as PLC's administrator since March of 2018. Steph moved to South

                  Carolina from Maryland in September of 2015, and her parents Deb and Eddie followed suit a year later.

                  They have fallen in love with Lexington. She and her husband, Mikey, welcomed a beautiful baby

                  girl in November 2017 and a sweet baby boy in November 2020. Steph loves her family, animals,

                  children and helping others any way she can. She is so excited to be a part of Providence Lutheran

                  Church’s community.
